Historian Role
The History Team is seeking an experienced Historian to engage with internal staff, ex-service organisations, veterans and their families, and the general public.
* Contribute to historically accurate content for Ministers, executives, and the public to deepen understanding of Australian service.
* Manage multiple priorities and projects with fixed deadlines tied to commemorative anniversaries.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote and improve historical resources.
About You:
* Honours, Masters (research), or PhD in History with a focus on military history or war and society in an Australian context.
* Demonstrated high-level research skills and ability to produce accurate, high-quality content under tight deadlines.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing competing demands effectively.

3. Maintain accurate records and reports
