About the role You will work closely with the Deputy Lead of Curriculum and Clinical Practice to plan and deliver clinical skills tutorials and high quality assessments. While primarily Fremantle ‑ based, you ’ ll collaborate closely with the Sydney team and travel occasionally to other education sites and partner healthcare facilities. Flexibility is essential during peak assessment periods to support teaching and clinical skills assessment delivery. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver clinical skills assessments and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations across Western Australian campuses, including case development and deferred assessments. Train and support examiners, actors, and volunteer simulated patients for clinical examinations. Develop and blueprint written assessments aligned to the Doctor of Medicine curriculum in collaboration with senior academic leads. Support assessment quality assurance, review processes, and continuous improvement activities. Contribute to teaching, workshops, clinical skills sessions, and curriculum enhancements within Communication and Clinical Practice. Coordinate and support teaching and assessment activities using digital platforms and assessment databases. Support the Volunteer Simulated Patient program, including recruitment, training, and engagement. Collaborate with national academic teams on curriculum development and implementation. Participate in research and support student supervision within medical education. Qualifications, skills & experience Possession of a medical degree registrable with AHPRA AND one of a Fellowship qualification in Medicine, Health or Medical Education OR a PhD, OR equivalent experience and standing in a relevant discipline area of more than 5 years. Experience in evidence–based clinical skills teaching and delivery. Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, delivery and/or assessment in medical education, preferably in the health context and in a tertiary setting. Well-developed organisation and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning and teaching programs. Benefits Fitness Passport on offer.
