Aviation Base Manager Job Summary
A challenging and dynamic role is available for an Aviation Base Manager & Base Engineer to oversee operational aviation activities, maintain safety and quality management systems, and lead maintenance operations at a satellite base.
This key position requires the ability to balance leadership and hands-on engineering skills, ensuring aircraft airworthiness and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day aviation operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
* Safety and Quality Management: Develop and implement safety procedures, conduct regular risk assessments, and maintain quality management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Maintenance Leadership: Supervise local engineering teams, manage resources, inventory, and facilities to ensure timely and effective maintenance of aircraft.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong IT skills, excellent English communication abilities, and experience working in highly regulated environments. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential for meeting deadlines and priorities.
