Contracts Administrator - Tier 2 - $100m project
Busy Tier 2 builder with a very strong pipeline of work are looking for a Contracts Administrator to work on a $100m project in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the project team in the preparation and execution during the procurement of subcontractors and implementing the project procurement strategy
* Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review
* Perform assessment of variations, negotiation of progress claims, and the agreement of final accounts
* Prepare, check and review subcontractor packages, scopes of work, lettings and procurement schedule
* Management of client and subcontractor claims process in accordance with the contract
* Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk
* Manage and assess variations, cash flow and liaison with major subcontractors
* Manage contract finalisation including defects, manuals and variationsCo-ordination and compilation of monthly reports
* Assist the Project Manager with matters relating to project costs reports
Required Skills
* Minimum 3+ years experience as a Contract Administrator within the Sydney Tier 1/2 sector in Sydney.
* Tertiary qualification, preferably Building or Engineering or Trade qualification with further relevant education
* New Build experience is also preferable
* Aptitude to implement processes and procedures, promote positive commercial outcomes and reduce commercial risks
* Excellent negotiation, written and communications skills
* Dynamic, passionateand ateam player
* Preferably advanced withProcore
* Ability to build and maintain client relationships
