ACE Community Colleges is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation with campuses in Lismore, Murwillumbah and Burleigh Waters. We're excited to announce the launch of a new tutoring business — an inclusive "shadow education" experience designed to support both home-schooled and mainstream students in achieving their academic potential.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced English Content Creator to help develop high-quality, engaging, curriculum-aligned resources for our tutoring programs.
This is a contract position (approx. 10 hours per week), ideal for teachers seeking flexible, remote work that contributes directly to student learning outcomes.
You will work closely with our Thrive Learning Co team to create and refine lesson materials, digital learning resources, and assessment tools that will support tutors and students across our programs.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and edit English content and lesson resources aligned with NSW curriculum outcomes (Years 7–12, including HSC).
Create engaging materials that support literacy, writing, analytical, and comprehension skills.
Develop practice questions, sample responses, and revision materials for HSC preparation.
Contribute ideas for ongoing resource development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, Education, or related field.
Experience teaching or tutoring high school English, including HSC-level.
Strong understanding of NSW curriculum outcomes and assessment frameworks.
Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality educational materials.
Highly regarded
Experience in curriculum or resource design for schools or tutoring programmes.
Familiarity with digital learning tools and online delivery formats.
A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
Creative, collaborative, and passionate about improving student outcomes.

Approx. 8 – 12 hours per week (flexible)
