Our Return-It business is focused on making recycling simple, accessible and rewarding.
Return-It is the consumer facing entity of the Group and its core business is to provide a modern and convenient way to collect eligible beverage containers via Container Deposit Schemes, accurately paying back refund amounts to consumers. Return-It is a national business and operates across QLD, ACT, NSW and WA and comprises of more than 100 collection refund points, including over 40 permanent depots
**About the Role**:
The position of
**National Community and Partner Manager** will function as a brand ambassador for Return-It and a voice of the Partner, you will build meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders resulting in positive actions and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust joint business plans with partners to deliver growth and service outcomes.
- Proactively manage safety and legislative requirements at partner sites.
- Deliver the performance management framework including agreed annual business plan, and perform monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Establish processes to monitor agreed KPI results and develop short, mid, and long terms for improving volume growth, KPI statistics including Community engagement activities, new customers acquired to drive volumes.
- Supports the partners to put customers at the heart of what they do through demonstrating the appropriate leadership behaviours, championing the roll-out of training programmes and recognition tools that celebrate success.
- Be actively involved in the community to build strong relationships to increase CDS participation.
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with charity partners to grow scheme participation.
- Drive on site depot events for deeper engage with the local community.
- Implement school programs and tours to drive greater involvement and education across primary and secondary educational institutions.
- Act as an ambassador of the brand, maintain external professional networks beneficial to facilitate business growth.
- Proven experience working within account management and partnerships.
- Strong people skills, understanding the drivers and constraints of the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors alike.
- Ideally be degree qualified in a relevant or aligned discipline however, not essential.
- Strong influencing skills
- Understanding of local cultural nuance across Perth, regional WA towns and QLD (desired but not essential)
- Experience in planning and delivering strategies.
- Possess strategic thinking, creative solutions orientation, and planning skills and experience - able to see the 'big picture' whilst also possessing an eye for detail.
- Experience advising senior managers on complex internal and external issues and challenges.
- Capacity for travel inter-state and within WA.
