Job Title: Retail Manager
Retail Managers are key players in ensuring the success of retail operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail branches, including managing stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with suppliers to develop and maintain strong relationships.
* Provide high-level customer service and promote RWE's products and services.
* Develop timely and innovative sales responses to meet customer needs.
* Maintain all retail branches in a presentable manner and ensure compliance with WHS standards.
* Manage stock and inventory, including maintaining accurate stock levels, overseeing stock storage and display, and managing stocktake and pricing.
* Assist administration staff with audits as necessary.
* Oversee and manage retail/customer service staff, including staff sales and performance, customer satisfaction results, staff rostering/hours, and store coverage.
* Provide mentoring, training, and support to retail staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate in Retail or significant industry and customer service experience.
* Forklift Licence - LF (to be obtained on job, if not current).
* Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
* Experience in Retail and Inventory Management.
* Good level of physical fitness (lifting and moving agricultural and plumbing stock).
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
* Manual license for motor vehicles.
* Familiarity and proficiencies using retail, POS and/or accounting software.
* Experience with HRIS systems (Employment Hero) from a manager perspective would also beneficial.
