Our large Federal Govt. Client is seeking two Snr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineers for a long-term contract role! Excellent extension options are available based on funding and approval.
About the Role:
Two Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineers are sought to join a major government technology program modernising critical digital platforms. These roles suit experienced cloud and infrastructure specialists who thrive in complex environments and enjoy shaping secure, scalable enterprise solutions.
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement and manage Azure cloud services and core infrastructure supporting high availability digital operations. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong influence across architecture, automation, networking and continuous delivery practices.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using modern engineering practices.
* Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and Azure DevOps pipelines.
* Design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated compliance controls.
* Configure and optimise Azure networking (VNets, VPNs, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues in collaboration with internal teams.
* Produce high‑quality technical documentation, diagrams and operational procedures.
Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect, Platform Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments.
* Strong proficiency across Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security).
* Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
* Solid understanding of networking, routing, segmentation and cloud security principles.
* Background in .NET development and Kubernetes experience (highly desirable).
