The OpportunityThe Senior Engagement Officer role is a leadership position within the Branch.
They oversee and guide the day-to-day operational activities of a team to deliver high quality services and policy implementation.
They are responsible for ensuring that performance measures for the team are met.
They may undertake management or oversight of small projects for the team or, work with larger projects for the branch.The Senior Engagement Officer cultivates a team with a supportive culture.

They coach and share expertise and technical knowledge with team members, peers and more broadly across the agency.
The Indigenous Engagement Officer develops and maintains complex internal and external relationships with key NIAA stakeholders, providing appropriate advice and managing the resolution of issues or complaints.
The Senior Engagement Officer promotes a healthy and safe workplace setting, and models ethical behaviour in accordance with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values.
