Summary of Position
Reporting to the Resource Planning Manager, this role helps create and manage Pilot and Cabin Crew rosters across our entire network. You'll support training scheduling, adjust rosters as needed, and ensure all plans meet company policies, regulatory requirements, and deadlines. The goal is to build fair, efficient, and reliable rosters while balancing operational needs and crew preferences. Some general admin tasks related to crew planning are also part of the role.
In this role, you will:
Prepare and publish Air Crew rosters in line with aviation regulations, industrial agreements, and company policies, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Coordinate crew training and checking activities by working closely with the Check and Training team, Crew Records Officer, and external/internal training providers.
Plan simulator sessions and crew pairings to meet regulatory and EBA requirements while minimising cancellations and optimising cost efficiency.
Manage crew logistics such as booking flights, accommodation, and transport where required, and communicate any roster changes directly with crew members.
Support training intake planning, ground schools, and training recovery with the Operations Control Centre.
Maintain accurate records in Geneva, process and audit crew leave and timesheets, and support payroll and invoicing functions.
Provide regular reports and analysis on roster performance, crew productivity, and efficiency metrics to management.
Assist with meetings, interviews, and admin requests as needed, and perform other tasks as directed by the Resource Planning Manager or senior leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of one year's experience in a crew planning, rostering, or similar operational support role.
A qualification in Aviation Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Advanced IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
A proactive mindset, with the initiative and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
A high level of personal and professional integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
