Overview
Allstar Blue are currently recruiting for experienced Belt Splicers to join our Client's conveyor team based SOR. The Role will mainly consist of workshop duties; however you will be required to travel to various sites in Perth and WA. You will also be required to work overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Belt Splicing, repairs and maintenance of steel cord and fabric conveyor belts.
* Perform hot and cold repairs.
* Apply linings on site and within the workshop.
* Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair.
* Contribute towards the company safety policies.
* Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience as a belt splicer / conveyor technician.
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels—clients, management and team members.
* Strong commitment to safety.
* Valid driver's licence.
