MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our valued clients for a School-Based Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Traineeship. This role allows you to gain valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare sector while continuing your schooling.
About the Role
This traineeship provides the opportunity to develop practical skills and real-world experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in health support services.
Your duties may include:
* Assisting nursing staff with basic patient care
* Supporting patients with comfort, mobility, and daily activities
* Monitoring and reporting changes in patient wellbeing to nursing staff
* Maintaining patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
* Preparing and maintaining patient areas and equipment
* Assisting with general ward duties and maintaining a clean, safe environment
* Following workplace health and safety and infection control procedures
