Responsibilities
* Deliver high level mental health care with children and young people who experience gender incongruence in accordance with the discipline specific Code of Ethics and the National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce. This includes:
* Provision of high level independent clinical services including assessment, treatment and case management of co-occurring severe and complex mental health problems and/or high level consultation liaison with the treating team
* High level assessment of gender dysphoria and the risk and protective factors known to impact on gender dysphoria to develop interventions and care plans that seek to reduce clinical distress in collaboration with the child, their family, key stakeholders and the interdisciplinary team
