Allstar Blue are currently seeking experienced Belt Splicers / Conveyor Technicians for Shutdown work in WA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Belt Splicing, Repairs, Maintenance and Installations to: Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts.
* Contribute towards the companies safety policies
* Perform hot and cold repairs
* Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips
* Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair
* Conduct belt audits
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations
* Minimum 3-5 years experience
* Extensive Steel cord experience
* Strong commitment to Safety
* Previous experience working on site
* BHP / RIO / FMG Inductions (Not Essential)
* Working @ heights (Not Essential)
* Confined Spaces (Not Essential)
