About the role
We're working with a high-growth consulting organisation expanding across the Australian investment landscape.
We partner with major asset and wealth managers to deliver transformation that actually sticks – not just strategy on paper, but change that lands, scales and delivers measurable results.
This Director position is ideal for someone who blends strategic thinking with delivery capability, loves working with senior stakeholders and wants to shape engagements end-to-end – from defining direction through to execution oversight.
What's a typical day look like? Own delivery of complex transformation engagements, often spanning people, process, operating model and platform change
Guide teams and client stakeholders to aligned outcomes, influencing direction and decision points rather than simply executing tasks
Set strategy, craft delivery approaches, and ensure programmes land on time, on budget and with senior visibility
Analyse current-state operating environments and design pragmatic, future-ready solutions
Build confidence through reporting, communication, risk management and executive updates
Maintain strong industry relationships, shaping new opportunities and driving BD conversations
Mentor and develop emerging consulting talent, creating uplift in capability and delivery standards About you 10+ years leading transformation or consulting engagements in financial services (funds / asset / wealth management)
Exposure to large-scale change, operating model design, vendor selection or regulatory / technology transformation
A track record of owning client outcomes and influencing senior stakeholders at executive level
Commercial awareness and confidence building relationships, networks and business development opportunities
Ability to shape thinking, coach teams and act as a trusted advisor in complex delivery environments
Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving capability
