Electrical Supervisor FIFO 2/1 Roster: Amrun Camp Expansion
A current FIFO Electrical Supervisor position on a 2:1 roster exists to play a key part in the Amrun Camp Expansion Project located at the Weipa Amrun site in the Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Dates: Early January 2026 - March 2026 (dates may move pending client requirements, travel/accommodation restrictions, inclement weather, and/or onboarding requirements)
Accommodation: Camp accommodation provided.
Shifts: 11 hours.
Point of Hire: Must be Brisbane or Cairns based. Candidates living on the Gold Coast or outer areas of Brisbane or Cairns may consider applying - note you will need to travel to BNE or CNS Airport at your own cost.
Flights: Provided from Brisbane or Cairns.
Onboarding: Your employment is contingent on successfully completing Goodline's onboarding requirements. You will be required to undergo a pre-employment Medical including a Mineral, Mines and Quarries Respiratory Health Surveillance (MMQ), G1 Certificate training is required, Rio Tinto Inductions required to be completed.
Advantageous: Evidence of completing Rio Tinto ISO/ Arch Flash training, G1 training, however Goodline will provide access to this training if required.
About you
- You are trade qualified with a valid Electrical License recognised in Queensland and extensive experience supervising teams in a mining and/or heavy construction environment.
- Experience supervising project teams
- Experience supervising in the shutdown environment
- Experience in FIFO work
- Exposure to HV terminations and cable installation
- Electrical Quality assurance
- Managing sub-contractors
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- Drivers license
Qualifications required
- Australian recognised Electrical Workers License
- Construction Induction Card (Mandatory)
- LV/CPR Certificate (Mandatory)
- QLD Coal Board or Mineral Mines Medicals (Advantage)
- Willing to undergo Pre-employment checks and Medicals
