Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor your team, support their development and career goals.
* Partner with departments across the business to identify and deliver strategic procurement opportunities.
* Support senior leaders with both strategic advice and operational execution.
* Enable initiatives that improve efficiency and smarter procurement, using technology and best practice.
* Manage relationships across a diverse supplier base and navigate government-funded schemes and private sector partnerships.
This role involves working closely with other senior leaders and the Head of function to enable smarter, more efficient procurement practices. It requires a strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skillset, as well as excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Requirements
* A degree in a commercial or supply chain discipline (e.g., Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Contract Management) - desirable.
* Proven experience in procurement, commercial, or category management in a fast-paced organisation, or leading a centralised procurement function in a large, human services business.
* Experience working in regulated industries and understanding public-private sector relationships.
* Strong leadership style that inspires and supports others.
