About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Storeperson to join our team based in Mawson Lakes, SA. Reporting to the Supply Support Manager, the primary responsibility is general stores, inventory control and supply support administration. The role will work under the direction of the Supply Support Manager to assist and maintain Support Systems, Capabilities and Logistical Elements within the project. Training, support and ongoing guidance will be provided to help you build your skills and grow confidently into this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and maintain agreed store levels, warehousing of spares and test equipment inventory.
* Ensure data integrity is upheld within SAP and MAXIMO by conducting regular Stock Counts as per the Stocktake plan.
* In process and Final inspection of assets with specific attention to packaging requirements.
* Receive, inspect and receipting of incoming goods and materials.
* Picking, packing and dispatch of materials to operational areas.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement.
* Answering e‐mails and phone calls on a wide range of issues including stock availability, delivery time frames and inbound goods and equipment.
* Conduct inventory transactions using BAE Systems Maintenance and Inventory Management System.
About You
* Previous experience in a similar role in a defence environment will be highly regarded.
* The ability to obtain an NV1 Clearance.
* Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Provide input and offer recommendations to improve company processes, systems and standard procedures.
