WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the OD Specialist, you will deliver organisation-wide programs and drive continuous improvement, while supporting the implementation of our Workforce Strategy. Fostering relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, you'll offer specialised advice and support to bring key organisational programs and initiatives to life
You will:
* Engage with key stakeholders and coordinate focus groups and pilots to enable information sharing and support project delivery in line with project plans
* Contribute to Workforce Strategy by coordinating initiatives and providing advice across culture, engagement, people governance, talent management, diversity and inclusion, leadership, and reward and recognition
* Engage with stakeholders across the full Capability Development life cycle, from needs analysis and design through to delivery, evaluation and re-engineering of learning programs, projects, and initiatives
* Develop and implement strategic frameworks and people programs such as capability, leadership, performance, and talent management (including succession planning) and supporting internal stakeholders with business case creation and collate supporting evidence
* Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout the organisation to maintain contemporary resources and effective program access and delivery
* Facilitate formal debriefs and assessments using organisational approved behavioural, coaching, personality, job evaluation licensed tools
* Advise and coach senior leaders to align programs and initiatives with business needs and drive business outcomes
* Coordinate and monitor strategic people programs and initiatives, using identified success measures to evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement
* Support the broader Capability Development team with administrative activities to support program development and delivery, systems and processes and responding to business queries and requests.
This is a part-time contract role for 12 months, based in Newcastle.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
To be successful in the role of OD Specialist, you will have previous experience in a similar position partnering with senior leaders and supporting people projects.
Your background will demonstrate your:
* Capability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels fostering partnerships and alignment with organisational objectives
* Ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, peers, employees, external organisations, and government agencies
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple complex tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment while managing multiple time‑critical activities
* Strong written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence, and other materials
* Ability to work autonomously, self-regulate priorities and proactively communicate critical information and concerns
* Knowledge of employee lifecycle; inputs, outputs and key touchpoints
* Experience in facilitation and evidence-based coaching
* Ability to undertake research and analysis, write concise reports and recommendations and develop and implement policies and procedures
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and associated applications such as SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and Tableau
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development/Psychology, Learning and Development, Organisational Change, Leadership, Human Resource Management or equivalent
* Mercer Job Evaluation - CED Certification (highly desirable)
* Kirkpatrick Evaluation Certification (highly desirable)
* TMP (Talent Management Profile) Practitioner Certification (highly desirable)
