We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Farm Attendant to join our dynamic team based in Tasmania.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of physical tasks on the water, including rigging checks, monitoring of fish behavior, preparing pens for bathing, and maintenance on feed equipment and pens.
This is a full-time 7/7 roster, providing a great work-life balance with 7 days on and 7 days off.
The hands-on position involves:
- Rope tying;
- Stock protection rigging;
- Fish care;
- Environmental protection practices;
- Inputting nets; and
- General labouring duties on the water
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a coxswain ticket and DLMA (desired but not essential), be physically fit, enthusiastic and a reliable team player, have an interest in aquaculture, the right to work full time in Australia, successfully pass an alcohol and drug test and pre-employment medical, and have a current drivers' licence.
