About the Role The Infrastructure Portfolio & Resource Coordinator provides structured visibility of workload, resource utilisation, and demand across ITS. The role enables evidence-based decision making by maintaining a consolidated view of capacity allocation, externally driven demand, and forward workload pressures. It supports governance processes that ensure resource commitments are visible, sustainable, and aligned to departmental priorities. This is an ongoing full-time opportunity. Attributes * * Capacity & Workload Visibility * Maintain a consolidated view of resource allocation across ITS, categorised by Run, Modernise, Enable and Assure. * Track allocation across FTE and contractor resources. * Identify over-allocation, sustained workload pressure, and emerging capacity risks. * Demand Attribution & Analysis * Maintain a register of initiatives impacting ITS Service Domains. * Classify demand by source (IMTD programs, and Business portfolios). * Identify externally driven and unfunded demand impacting capacity. * Capacity Forecasting * Support development of rolling 3–6 month capacity forecasts. * Highlight demand peaks, resource conflicts, and potential displacement of Assure activities. * Governance & Reporting * Prepare structured reporting for the ITS Capacity & Portfolio Review. * Maintain key artefacts including allocation models and initiative registers. * Capture decisions and ensure visibility of trade-offs and prioritisation outcomes. * Stakeholder Coordination * Liaise with ITS managers across Platforms, Network and Operations. * Engage with Digital and delivery portfolios to ensure demand visibility. * Support alignment without assuming delivery ownership. * Contractor & Workforce Insight * Maintain visibility of contractor allocation, duration, and alignment. * Identify risks related to contractor dependency and knowledge transfer. Desirable Qualifications and Experience * * Analytical & Coordination Capability * Ability to synthesise workload and resource information into clear insights. * Experience coordinating ICT activities or maintaining structured registers. * Governance & Discipline * Strong attention to data accuracy and reporting consistency. * Ability to operate within governance frameworks. * Stakeholder Engagement * Ability to work effectively with technical managers and multiple teams. * Confidence to seek clarification and validate information. * Communication * Ability to present information clearly to support decision making.
