Base pay range
A$160,000.00/yr - A$190,000.00/yr
Informatech are a Canberra‑based ICT consultancy with over 200 staff, specialising in Testing, Technical Services, Project Delivery and Security. Off the back of an outstanding year where we expanded into new markets and grew key accounts, we were recognised on the Australian Financial Review's Fast 100 List for the third year in a row. We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Specialist to join a high‑profile Defence program delivering a significant business transformation initiative.
About the role
You will play a key part in ensuring the ongoing availability, performance and improvement of in‑scope applications. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to the sustainment of systems supporting various capability management functions. The role requires a proactive approach to ITSM processes, Level 3 support, change and release management, and continuous improvement of services.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver Level 3 support for enterprise applications and manage incidents, problems and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
* Manage minor enhancements to deliver incremental value and improved functionality.
* Maintain service catalogues, service level metrics and performance reports.
* Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
* Ensure all ITSM processes align with Defence standards and security requirements.
* Collaborate with Commonwealth stakeholders and other suppliers to achieve sustainment outcomes.
* Support service design, transition, and operation activities, including upgrades and configuration management.
Skills and experience
* Proven background in IT Service Management within Defence or Defence Industry.
* Hands‑on experience with incident, problem, change and release management.
* Strong understanding of service design and transition in line with ITIL practices.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaborative delivery.
* As this role is in Defence, Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 clearance are required to be considered for this role.
