CBRE is seeking an experienced WHSE Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. This senior, nationally scoped role is responsible for leading the delivery of Health, Safety & Environment across a portfolio of premium commercial assets.
You will partner with site teams, senior stakeholders, and the client to drive strong safety outcomes, ensure compliance, and embed a positive WHSE culture across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and implement the national WHSE framework across Australia for Charter Hall
* Provide expert WHSE advice and guidance to 100+ Facilities Managers, site teams, and client stakeholders
* Drive compliance with WHSE legislation, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks
* Oversee incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory notifications
* Manage WHS systems, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead and facilitate ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO9001 certification activities
* Conduct audits and site inspections, including interstate travel as required
* Deliver monthly, annual, and client-specific WHS reporting
* Support contractor WHS compliance and safe systems of work
* Mentor and lead one direct report and deliver WHSE training across the business
About You
* 5+ years' experience in health and safety within the property or facilities management sector
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
* Deep knowledge of Australian WHSE legislation and standards
* Proven experience in incident investigations, reporting, and compliance
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* ICAM or similar investigation training
* Experience or qualifications in environmental management
* Willingness to travel interstate
