The Company

Due to ongoing growth and a positive shift within the organization, they are looking to hire a HSEQ Advisor.

The Role

As a HSEQ Advisor, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s HSEQ management systems and policies. Your role will include a strong focus on the health and safety of all employees and third parties impacted by work activities within your area of responsibility, as well as:

1. Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
2. Fostering a culture of continuous learning regarding health, safety, and environmental practices, supporting audits and compliance with changing regulations
3. Monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
4. Keeping abreast of industry trends and legislative changes

The Criteria

1. Over 3 years of experience in a similar Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)/Work Health and Safety (WHS)/Health and Safety Representative (HSR) role
2. A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, with at least a Certificate IV in OHS
3. A current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are essential
4. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
5. Proficient administrative and computer skills, including expertise in MS Office
