Logistics Operations Director
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that daily logistical challenges are met with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop customer relations, ensuring a strong and mutually beneficial partnership.
* Lead a committed team to greatness, driving the future of logistics through the effective use of technology.
* Oversee the management and control of operations, maintaining a safe working environment while achieving cost-effective operational activities.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, safety, and employee welfare.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in Distribution Centre Management, preferably within a 3PL environment.
* 3+ years' experience managing teams, with strong leadership skills and exceptional end-to-end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations.
* Possession of health and safety certifications, with tangible experience of improving the safety culture on site.
* Excellent people management skills, with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders.
* Ongoing customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus.
* Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
* Strong experience with WMS systems, ideally SAP or Manhattan.
