Coastwide Engineering has been operating since 1972. We employ 100+ people across multiple divisions and deliver fabrication, machining, maintenance, breakdown, shutdown and project work to heavy industry.
We've built long-term relationships with clients including BlueScope Steel and local mining and quarry operations.
The Role
We're hiring experienced Roof Sheeters/Plumbers for ongoing work across Bluescope Steel, mining, and quarry sites.
Your work will cover a balanced mix of:
* Follow site and company procedures at all times
* Take responsibility for your own safety and those around you
* Roof Sheeting works related to industrial structures, buildings, workshops, conveyors
* Project work and installations
* Planned maintenance
* Shutdowns
* Breakdown response (including after-hours callouts)
* Overtime works
About You
As a successful candidate, you will need:
* Trade qualified Roof Plumbing (required)
* Bluescope Steel and Local Mine/Quarries inductions (preferred)
* Proven site experience (steel, mining, quarry, heavy industry)
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strong safety awareness
* Australian Drivers Licence
Remuneration
$90,000 - $150,000 + Super with potential for yearly increases in line with CPI
