The Role:
As a result of continued growth in our Adelaide customer base there is the need to expand our Validation team in Adelaide and surrounding regional areas. This full-time position would be ideal for new graduates with technical aptitude and some hands on technical experience and report writing requiring the use of Microsoft word and excel. This position would be suited to someone who enjoys a hands-on role that involves a keen eye for detail and customer service skills.
The ability to work both autonomously and within a team is essential.
The role comprises of Performance Qualification and requalification of medical devices and will require an understanding of the standards pertaining to these, specifically AS/NZS 4187:2014. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant however experience within a CSSD environment with steam sterilizers or washer disinfectors would be an advantage. Travel both locally, regionally across Victoria and some interstate travel is also required.
What you will be doing:
As a Validation Technician servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for:
* Validation - Performance Qualification and requalification of infection control equipment steam sterilizers, washer disinfectors, Low temp plasma sterilizers and Heat Sealers.
* Water & Steam Quality testing, (superheat, non-condensable gasses and dryness) and Steam Purity testing + monthly water testing as required by AS/NZS 4187:2014
* Product knowledge of all equipment and related regulations and specifications.
* Liaise with sales, engineering, and management groups to assist in guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
* Represent the company in a professional manner with a positive attitude.
