The Role
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Fiddlers Green. This permanent part-time position is focused specifically on providing housekeeping services to our serviced apartments, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents.
Fiddlers Green is set in the heart of leafy Berwick, offering residents elegant living, lively social activities and supportive village environment all set among the beautifully picturesque gardens.
Shifts will involve working every Wednesday at 8:30am – 1:30pm and Thursday at 8:30am – 1:00pm.
Duties of a Housekeeper will include:
* Provide and maintain housekeeping services to common areas and residential apartments
* Support the general cleaning and maintenance of the serviced apartments
* Assist waitstaff with meal & beverage service
* Manage laundry tasks including washing and handling of sheets and towels
About You
For this role, you will have excellent diligence and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously to complete tasks. To be successful in your application, you will have the following;
* Previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience, but open for someone who is willing to learn on the job
* Knowledge of the use of equipment associated with the role
* A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
* The ability to make decisions and remain calm under pressure
* Be motivated and able to take initiative
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to work unsupervised.
