We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Brisbane.
About the Role
* You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries.
* Our ideal candidate will conduct tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation.
* You will service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs.
* As a Senior Accountant, you will perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts.
* We value building and maintaining positive and personalized working relationships with clients and colleagues.
* You will provide development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required.
* We participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
About You
* Qualifications and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
* CA or CPA qualified candidates are preferred.
* You must have demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting.
