About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and dedicated manager to lead our very busy fruit and veg department. You'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional product quality, ensuring stock is always fresh, and presenting produce to the highest merchandising standards. Strong stock control and attention to detail are essential to keep the department running efficiently and the produce at its freshest.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the fruit and veg department
* Maintain top standards of freshness, quality, and presentation
* Ensure exceptional merchandising standardsacross all displays
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and rotation to keep produce fresh
* Lead and motivate a small, hardworking team
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure consistent quality
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements
* Proven experience in fruit and veg or fresh produce management
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Very high standards of merchandising and presentation
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Physically fit, reliable, and hardworking
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible availability, including one weekend day
