Are you a passionate storyteller with a passion for capturing the stories of regional life? ABC Regional Radio team is seeking a producer to join our talented team in Port Macquarie. This is an ongoing full-time opportunity for a creative producer who thrives on bringing local stories to life.
As a producer you will be responsible for crafting compelling content that resonates with our incredible audience across multiple ABC radio stations. Your role will involve researching and producing engaging stories that reflect the unique culture, challenges, and triumphs of the Regional NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality Statewide Drive Program for radio and digital platforms. Collaborate with reporters, presenters, and guests to ensure seamless content delivery. Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required Stay up to date with local, regional, and national issues, trends, and events. To excel in this role, you understand program production, have a keen eye for detail, and bring a passion for regional storytelling. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
