About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Despatcher to join our team at our Head Office in Nambour. This permanent position involves a variety of responsibilities and requires working as part of a rotating 4 on 4 off night shift roster.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Respond to incoming calls and provide timely, efficient support to customers.
* Address and resolve customer service inquiries in accordance with operational procedures.
* Provide general administrative support to the team.
* Oversee communication within the Despatch office, including phone, radio, and email channels.
* Coordinate and schedule dispatching of driver operators, trucks, and other response vehicles for both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as transportation and equipment needs.
About You:
To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate:
* Prior experience in customer service or a similar role.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in computer operations and software applications.
* A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
* Ability to work effectively within a team in a supportive role.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
