**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Position**:
We are seeking a suitably experienced and customer focused individual to join Council's Communications and Customer Service team.
Reporting to Council's Manager Communications and Customer Service, this position is responsible for providing administrative expertise to support the functions of the section and Council's Corporate and Community Division as a whole. The position will also provide relief support to the Executive Assistant to the General Manager, Mayor and Councillors.

- Demonstrated extensive experience in administrative roles, including maintaining databases, generating reports, and preparing and reviewing documents.

- Proven highly developed written and oral communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience using corporate software and databases, with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
- Proven experience with electronic records management systems.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to division and organisational outcomes.
**The rewards**
- An annual full time salary range of $63,900 to $73,300 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
- 19 day month flexible work arrangement. **_Council is currently trialling a range of flexible working options. Subject to operational requirements, full time office staff will have access to a nine day fortnight, with a thirty minute lunch break. _**:
