The Role
We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures for our clients. You'll lead projects, implement secure, scalable solutions, and work hands-on across diverse technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
* Configure and optimise routing protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain network security (firewalls, IDS, VPNs, access controls).
* Lead network projects and maintain documentation.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
* 7+ years IT/networking experience in complex environments.
* Proven experience designing scalable and reliable network architectures.
* Experience with Azure (Office 365, Azure AD, SharePoint) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, AHV, KVM).
* Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, NSE4 preferred.
* Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP).
* Hands-on experience with firewalls: FortiGate, Sophos, WatchGuard, Meraki.
