Supervise and Fabricate Metal
This is a dynamic position that involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring quality control.
* We are seeking a highly skilled individual with at least 10 years of relevant trade experience and minimum 2 years of supervisory experience to oversee our workshop operations.
This role also requires the ability to read and interpret engineering and shop drawings, assist with estimation and design, program and schedule CNC profile cutting operations, plan material utilization efficiently, accurately measure and mark out fabrications, cut metal sections using hand tools, flame cutters, and CNC machines, and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
A successful candidate should be able to operate tools and equipment safely and correctly, maintain effective communication within the team, and apply skills in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Oversee daily workshop operations and supervise staff
2. Ensure quality control
3. Read and interpret engineering and shop drawings

5. Program and schedule CNC profile cutting operations
6. Plan material utilization efficiently
7. Accurately measure and mark out fabrications

10. Apply skills in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding

Requirements and Skills

Benefits

Requirements and Skills
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
* Australian Driver's Licence is advantageous
* Good physical fitness and mobility
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Remuneration
A competitive salary package, including a rate of $37.20/hour based on a 38-hour week, plus 11.5% superannuation, and flexible hours available.
