Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Educator will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to support staff development and promote excellence in neonatal care at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
This role involves providing patient and family centred and evidence informed nursing care that promotes improved neonatal health outcomes. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs in partnership with Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Neonatology Medical Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of high-quality patient and family centred nursing care.
* Designing, delivering and evaluating clinical education programs for nurses.
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent neonatal care outcomes.
Requirements
* Current registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Relevant post-registration experience in neonatal care.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience in various teaching methodologies.
