Who You Are
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in painting, surface preparation, and coating applications.
Responsibilities
* Surface Preparation
o Assess and prepare surfaces before painting (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes).
o Apply primers, sealers, and base coats to achieve a long-lasting and durable finish.
o Mask and cover areas to protect surfaces not being painted.
* Painting & Finishing
o Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and coatings according to project specifications.
o Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to achieve high-quality finishes.
o Ensure even application and adherence to industry standards.
* Technical Work
o Choose the right tools, materials, and techniques based on surface types.
o Work with various types of paint, including water-based, oil-based, and specialty coatings.
o Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
* Inspection & Adjustments
o Conduct final inspections to ensure smooth and professional finishes.
o Perform necessary touch-ups and corrections.
o Maintain detailed records of completed work and materials used.
* Workplace Operations
o Keep tools and equipment in excellent condition.
o Follow workplace safety protocols and regulations.
o Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
o Provide on-site services as required.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Painter in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
* Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials.
* Ability to work with various coatings and application methods.
