A respected regional main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the team on a major regeneration scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong site leader to join a project from the very start, reporting directly into an experienced Senior Project Manager and taking ownership of site operations through the full construction lifecycle.
The development forms part of a wider regeneration programme and will involve a varied scope of works, offering excellent exposure to complex construction activities.
Project Scope
Works on the scheme will include:
* Demolition and site clearance
* Construction of a new in-situ reinforced concrete frame
* Highway and infrastructure works
* Public realm and external works
* Internal fit-out packages
This role will suit someone who enjoys delivering technically interesting projects and leading site teams through multiple phases of construction.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of the project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading site set-up, logistics, and early works
* Managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple packages
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high quality
* Overseeing structural works including the RC frame construction
* Coordinating infrastructure works including highways and service diversions
* Supporting delivery of public realm and external works
* Managing internal packages through to fit-out and completion
* Maintaining strong health & safety standards across site
* Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, commercial team, and design team
About You
We are looking for a confident Senior Site Manager who can lead from the front and bring structure and organisation to a busy construction environment.
You will ideally have:
* Experience working for a main contractor
* A track record delivering complex or multi-package projects
* Experience managing RC frame or structural works
* Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
* The ability to drive programme and maintain build quality
Requirements
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred)
* First Aid at Work
* Proven experience operating as a Senior Site Manager
