This is a 3 month fixed term, part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency. Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The School Millen Primary School (PS) opened in 1956 and will be celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026. The school is in East Victoria Park and caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in visual arts and a proven ability to inspire and engage young students. As an Art Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills. Millen’s art teacher will be an active member of a Professional Learning Community that works collaboratively to improve student learning by using data to inform practices focused on continuous improvement. You will work closely with the school community to promote art through a range of successful initiatives, including school-based art exhibitions and special projects.
