Job Opportunity
We seek a skilled IT Manager to lead the implementation of cost-effective, innovative, and well-governed digital Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems.
* Develop and execute medium- to long-term IT strategies aligned with business goals.
* Lead planning and implementation of emerging technologies, including AI.
* Ensure IT policies and procedures meet internal and external standards.
* Manage infrastructure provisioning and third-party vendor performance.
* Oversee operational and capital IT budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
* Design, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure, including disaster recovery and service reliability.
* Execute cybersecurity strategy, monitor threats, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Prepare infrastructure for scalable AI workloads and establish governance frameworks.
* Communicate performance, risks, and initiatives while promoting tech and cybersecurity awareness.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, or a similar field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in the field.
* In-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies preferably in the Aged Care, NDIS, community services, and education sectors.
* Specialised IT management competencies in IT infrastructure, networks, cloud computing and architecture.
* Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organisation.
* Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* People management and leadership skills, together with professional standards of planning and budgeting.
* Demonstrated acumen and passion for technology.
* Thorough knowledge of best-practice IT governance e.g., ITIL.
