A Bit About Your Role
As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial part in working on Customer Service field tasks across all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you are responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll have the opportunity to work in various environments both internal and external but predominantly inside customers' premises.
Your typical day may include:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering, and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
You will work between 7am to 7pm based on business needs and we encourage flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install and maintain cabling infrastructure
2. Install and maintain nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
3. Diagnose and repair faults in cabling networks and CPE
Requirements
Exceptional customer service skills and honesty are essential. Self-management, motivation, and strong communication skills (written and verbal) are also required.
A valid and clean Driver's License is necessary for this role.
