Industry Partner Solution Architect, Energy and Utilities, APJ Partner SA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Industry Partner Solutions Architect to join our AWS Solutions organization. As part of this role, you will leverage your domain expertise to develop innovative solutions that address real-world problems in the Energy and Utilities industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop ideas for new products, services, or solutions to address real-world problems in the Energy and Utilities industry.
2. Create technology solutions and evolve them as we gain new insights and understanding.
3. Assess the feasibility of ideas using today's knowledge and identify areas requiring new research and science.
4. Stay connected with customers and anticipate future needs to develop concrete proposals.
5. Refine and advocate a 'north star' to guide business decision-making with executives and team alignment.
6. Travel up to 20% of the time, including domestic and international destinations.
A Day in the Life:
You will work in small teams staffed with leading domain experts, architects, and sales specialists to build and evolve AWS services by applying Amazon's culture of innovation and digital technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
* 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
* 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
* 8+ years of IT experience in Automotive and Manufacturing Industry
* Professional working proficiency in English
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly and experience in the automotive domain
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience working with end user or developer communities
* AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification
* Full professional fluency in English
* Experience with Energy and utilities business concepts and technologies
* Experience interacting with industry bodies related to Energy and Utilities
* Strong understanding of data management or ML or Strong understanding of Automotive software solutions
* Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
* Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
