Experience a dynamic role as an Electrical Engineer in the heart of Newcastle.
We're seeking a recent or soon-to-be graduate to join our 2026 Graduate Program, where you'll have the opportunity to delve deep into high-voltage engineering and electrical systems. You'll gain practical experience in project management, leading and coordinating projects effectively, and explore maintenance and reliability projects, with a focus on enhancing reliability, particularly in relation to electrical systems.
This immersive, hands-on program provides comprehensive technical and commercial skills training, allowing participants to rotate through diverse business units and gain a thorough understanding of operations and strategic initiatives. As part of this team, you'll work closely with experienced professionals and engage with various electrical engineering areas.
Eligibility Criteria
* A genuine passion for Electrical Systems within the operational context of steel manufacturing and distribution.
* Australian/NZ citizenship or a visa granting unlimited working rights.
* Completion of an Australian tertiary degree within the past three years (or set to conclude in 2025).
* Less than two years of full-time, discipline-specific work experience.
Upon successful placement into this program, you'll be subject to pre-employment checks, including criminal, qualification, medical, and reference checks. A cover letter will be required, so please upload your academic transcript accordingly.
