Offer description

Extract, interpret and report relevant quality system key performance indicators and maintain competency in relevant quality management software such as QIS2 and Riskman.
Identify and proactively manage CPHS organisational risks and provide consultative advice to service line management on risk minimisation strategies.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following. Please consider these competencies and address them as part of your suitability statement:

- High level working knowledge of scientific and laboratory practice.
- Knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, coronial and public and public health functions.
- Proven ability to lead an organisational quality management system and provide high level authoritative counsel to executive management in relation to organisational compliance.
- Advanced negotiation, consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and develop stakeholder relationships and lead the organisational quality, learning and client focussed culture.
- High level organisational skills, with ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise tasks to achieve outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop others and build a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in quality systems, risk management or HR management would be well regarded.
- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.

- Travel between PQ locations to support organisational activities such as audits may be required.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements
- It will be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Pertussis, Rubella and Varicella.
- Additional vaccinations including Japanese Encephalitis and Rabies may also be required for this position.
