Warehouse Supervisor
Due to growth, we are seeking a practical, organised, hands-on individual with warehouse, inventory and parts management experience to join our dynamic and growing company within the mining, quarrying and recycling industries.
We are an Australian owned company with Headquarters North of Brisbane. We focus on selling and installing aftermarket spare-parts and conveyor belting to a range of customers and industries. The company has been in business since 2009 and continues to grow each year. We have offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. This job is for full time work at our Caboolture facility, however we welcome interstate applicants who plan to relocate.
In this role you will work with sales, procurement, service and finance teams to deliver a superior fast, accurate dispatch of the products our customers need. You will also be supported with technical and product training. As a progressive company we are always looking to develop our staff.
A minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience is required for this position.

* Experience with business to business logistics, if no heavy industry experience
* Knowledge and experience of best practice warehouse and logistics
* Experience using a CRM and inventory systems (we use Odoo ERP)
* Be a team player
* Ability to multi task
* Able to work unsupervised
* Current forklift licence (required)
* Current driving license (required)
Detailed responsibilities will include:
• Supervise supply chain operations, ensuring effective inbound goods control, warehousing, cataloging and distribution of products.
• Ensure efficient, accurate pick, pack and dispatch of goods to our customers in a manner that delivers expected timelines and KPIs.
• Work with the Procurement Officer to oversee inventory management, including orders, storage, and deliveries.
• In conjunction with the Procurement Officer, support Quality Assurance programs on inbound stock.
• Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align supply chain processes with customer demands.
• Lead, train, and develop team members in best practices for supply chain management and warehouse operations.
• Implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Support the implementation of any software (including ERP/WMS).
• Lead the implementation of barcoding across our inventory.
• In conjunction with Finance, develop and manage your department budget, monitoring expenses and revenue.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth potential.
• Contribute / lead supply chain development associated with the growth of new branches and distribution hubs.
• Supervise and oversee all aspects of workplace health and safety (WHS) within the service area, including maintenance of documentation and regulation of safety behavior in the service, warehouse and dispatch areas, particularly regarding forklift operations, storage and movement of heavy goods.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance all of assets and equipment maintained in the workshop and warehouse.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and lifespan of equipment.
• Contribute to forecasting future demand and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners.
