About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Relief Manager to provide operational support across our Ingenia Gardens Residential Communities.
This multi-site opportunity will be based in New South Wales, with sites located in Goulburn, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, and other areas as required.
The Relief Manager is responsible for relieving Community Managers or Village Cooks in times of absence, including day-to-day management of the community, asset enhancement, financial and people management, resident satisfaction, risk, and legislative compliance.
When relieving the Village Cook, this role also requires planning and preparing meals for 20-40 residents daily and maintaining Food Safety standards within the kitchen.
Depending on the site location, this role may require living away from home in company-provided accommodation. A reliable vehicle is necessary, but a travel allowance is provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure quality services are provided to residents in line with industry best practice and/or as directed by management.
* Maintain a high standard of presentation at the community by attending to cleaning and upkeep.
* Manage staff, residents, and visitors who attend the community.
* Conduct and report on site audits (including kitchen) to ensure appropriate standards are being maintained.
* Focus on the health and wellbeing of residents.
* Increase occupancy in line with budgets.
* Promote the community through engagement with key contacts.
* Support resident-initiated social groups and events.
* Food ordering, receiving, preparation, and service.
* Cleaning and sanitation.
* Relationship management with residents and the Community Manager.
* Teamwork with Ingenia colleagues.
* Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities.

* Excellent administrative and financial skills.

* Confident communication and reasoning skills.
* Self-motivation and ability to work without supervision.
* Food Safety Accreditation training (or current qualification).
