Due to continued growth and the formation of a new team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a switched on person to provide administrative and project support, ensuring the efficient delivery of multi-residential construction projects, assisting with contract administration, document control, procurement co-ordination, communications between site and office teams, and maintaining timelines, budgets and compliance requirements.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working alongside a Senior CA and an Intermediate CA, key responsibilities include:
* Assist with the preparation, review and management of contracts, purchase orders and subcontractor agreements
* Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings and registers
* Coordinate and track procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules
* Support the preparation of progress claims, variations and payment schedules
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
* Monitor project costs and assist with budget tracking and reporting
* Preparing meeting agendas, take minutes and distribute action items
* Support compliance with WHS and enviornmental requirements by maintaining relevant documentation.
* Assist with handover documentation and project close-out
Our ideal applicant will have previous experience in a similar role within construction or property development. We need a strong organiser, who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and has a high attention to detail and accuracy. You should be a strong communicator, who understands construction contracts and terminology. A current QLD white card and literacy on Microsoft Office and project management/document control software would be a distinct advantage.
