The Role
In this agile role, you'll tackle new challenges daily, leveraging your process-driven approach and innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement.
As part of this team you will report to the Applications Support Manager, providing application development and support services to the organisation.
This position will give you the opportunity to join a close-knit team and be mentored by some of the industry leaders.
Your Profile
To be a successful candidate in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary degree or post-graduate qualification in IT with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role
- Strong programming and analytical skills ideally in: C, George, Perl, awk, Shell scripting
- Strong experience working within a Linux / UNIX environment
- Experience with HL7
- Experience with Oracle / SQL administration
- Experience creating, integrating and maintaining laboratory instrument interfaces for LIS
- Knowledge of Version Control and Change Management Methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
