Cloud Data Architect
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions on the Azure Data Platform. This role involves turning data into business value by building, testing, deploying and maintaining robust data pipelines, models and integrations using Azure Databricks, SQL and Python.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Designing and developing efficient data pipelines and workflows;
* Implementing security measures to safeguard data; and
* Maintaining high-quality data architecture and infrastructure.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have expertise in integration modeling and warehousing, as well as proficiency in Databricks, SQL and Python. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy are also essential for success in this role.
The selected individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data engineering efforts into broader business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Several years of experience in data engineering with expertise in integration modeling and warehousing;
* Proficiency in Databricks, SQL and Python, strong grasp of cloud architecture and distributed computing;
* ETL / ELT design and implementation; metadata management for data engineering;
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy;
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or demonstrated capability.
