Responsibilities
What's the role?
* Embrace the balance between acute care and chronic disease management across all age groups.
* Collaborate closely with nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners; you'll hold a pivotal role within the team.
* During remote rotations, reside within communities, gaining a profound understanding of remote living and fostering cross-cultural interactions.
* For those inclined, there's potential to explore hospital work, especially in areas like obstetrics, emergency, or anaesthesia.

Qualifications
* Hold current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Be a Fellow of the RACGP or ACRRM, or possess a minimum of five years' GP experience
* Demonstrate awareness, sensitivity, and a grasp of contemporary Aboriginal cultural and historical matters
* Experience as a supervisor of GP registrars or additional qualifications are advantageous
* Exhibit appropriate health and fitness levels for remote travel and work
